Pine tar soap is a natural remedy thought to have powerful antiseptic abilities. It’s often used to treat skin conditions, like psoriasis and eczema.
Pine tar soap might be helpful in reducing scaling, itching, and inflammation. Customer feedback is that my Pine Tar soap has reduced the redness of their psoriasis significantly.
This soap is quite difficult to make, and needs a long cure time to harden. This soap was made in February 2021 so has cured for 8 months. Buttermilk replaces the water, and I added rosemary essential oil because research has shown that rosmarinic acid, one of the components in rosemary extract, has a calming effect on skin.
Free from added fragrance and colouring. No preservatives, harmful chemicals or skin sensitizers.
